National Academy of Sciences Awards

Lemelson MIT Prize

The $500,000 Lemelson-MIT Prize recognizes individuals who translate their ideas into inventions and innovations that improve the world in which we live. Nominees are eligible within twenty-five years of receiving their Bachelor Degrees

AACR Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Memorial Award

AACR and the Rosenthal Family Foundation established this award in 1977 to recognize research that has made, or promises to soon make, a notable contribution to improved clinical care in the field of cancer. In its desire to honor and provide incentive to investigators relatively early in their careers, the foundation has stipulated that recipients not be more than 50 years of age at the time the award is received.

Australia-Harvard Fellowships

The Fellowships are tenable at eligible Australian institutions. These include all of the nation’s universities and most research centres. For Harvard-based researchers and educators, we envisage a working visit of several months during which we encourage Fellows to interact additionally with educators and students in their vicinity. Paul Marks Prize for Cancer Research

The Paul Marks Prize for Cancer Research recognizes a new generation of leaders in cancer research, who are making significant contributions to the understanding of cancer or are improving the treatment of the disease through basic or clinical research. The prize is intended to encourage young investigators who have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of cancer research.
