Description
The Indiana University School of Medicine Steven C. Beering Award honors an internationally recognized individual for outstanding research contributions to the advancement of biomedical or clinical science. The award, a tribute to a former dean, is presented annually and consists of a prize of $25,000. The recipient is asked to present one major lecture to the medical community at the time the award is bestowed and to spend about three days with us, including delivering one or two additional lectures to smaller groups.
