Description
The objective of the BRAIN DISEASES Fund is to award a yearly prize (10'000 Swiss Francs) to one or more young scientist(s) for outstanding contribution(s) to non-clinical basic research related to brain disorders e.g., Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, brain cancer, epilepsy, and depressive disorders. Maximal age at the time of the relevant publication is 30 and 33 for men and women, respectively. If the applicant has already earned the PhD degree, the PhD defense should have taken place in the three years preceding the application and not earlier.
